Vignarosa has always been committed to researching quality and improvement and deals with the production and sale of Italian wines of prestige: DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) and IGT or ‘vins de pays’ wines. In the territory of the municipality of Colle Umberto, the production of DOCG (Controlled Designation of Origin Guaranteed), DOC and IGT wines is allowed and thus our production is concentrated on the sale of these excellent products to satisfy the qualitative and gustative demands of our clients.
The Vignarosa wine company first started as a wine business in the seventies and since then has continued up to today to successfully bring together tradition and innovation, making itself known among the wine producers of the Veneto region and obtaining important awards in the national and international wine contests, contending with the best wine producers in the world.
The Prosecco spumante comes from a re-fermentation with the Charmat method (large containers at controlled temperatures and pressure); thanks to this technique it takes on a fine and persistent perlage with fruity aromas hinting at notes of apple and pear, and a slight trace of wild flowers enhanced by a touch of gaiety.
The correct combination of wine and food is fundamental in order to fully appreciate the qualities of both. As well as the classic combinations of wine and cuisine, such as white wine with fish and reds with meat, there are also many other options to explore for accompanying the wine-tasting with the right dish.
