Production and sale of Prosecco spumante wine: Prosecco Spumante Extra dry, Dry and Brut

The Prosecco spumante comes from a re-fermentation with the Charmat method (large containers at controlled temperatures and pressure); thanks to this technique it takes on a fine and persistent perlage with fruity aromas hinting at notes of apple and pear, and a slight trace of wild flowers enhanced by a touch of gaiety.

The Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry is probably the most widely distributed version in the production of this wine, while sales of the Brut version (drier) and the Dry version (sweeter) are noticeably increasing all over the world. It is suitable for any occasion, thanks to its lightness and elegance, and this has made it widely appreciated and much in demand, thus leading to significant increases in production and therefore in sales as well. The Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry is a perfect accompaniment for seafood, white meats, fresh cheeses and little pastries and biscuits. The Prosecco Brut is ideal as an aperitif while the Dry version is particularly appropriate at the end of a meal with dessert.
